Post-Quantum Cryptography Animation

University of Bristol

University of Bristol’s engineering department wanted a series of three short animations to help explain their research into post-quantum cryptography.

We took a deep dive to understand and visualise how methods of cryptography will need to evolve and adapt to prepare for quantum computing. When traditional forms of cryptography will be able to be easily broken, what new methods are being developed to keep data secure from quantum computers?

As a team, we were looking for creative assets to support an article that explained post-quantum cryptography for a general audience. We turned to the professionals at GreenHat, who created a series of explainer animations by working closely with our academics. We’re thrilled with the results and excited to explore new ways to share our world-leading research.
